Asheya joined Stobbs in 2024 as an IA Executive.
Asheya's journey into the field of intellectual property began during her gap year, a pivotal time when she was exploring various career opportunities and applying for apprenticeships. After considerable effort, she secured a position as a junior analyst at Incopro. This role allowed her to delve deep into the intricacies of IP, and through dedication and hard work, she quickly ascended to a senior position, all while pursuing her university studies in Criminology and Sociology at the University of Greenwich. After several fulfilling years in IP, Asheya decided to take a break and sought a new challenge as a Planning Enforcement Officer at Redbridge Council. This role opened her eyes to the complexities of planning law and provided her with invaluable experience in mediating disputes between neighbours who were often at odds. This experience significantly broadened her skill set and enhanced her ability to handle challenging situations.
In her free time, Asheya enjoys reading, watching anime, spending time with her family, and doing embroidery. In addition to these activities, Asheya loves staying active by attending Pilates classes. She also enjoys taking long walks, especially in picturesque areas where she can explore new surroundings. Her favourite places to visit are bookshops and she loves finding new cafes (to get her matcha fix) and beautiful parks. Asheya is currently working on growing a small embroidery TikTok account and would love to start a small side business in the future.
