Michelle is a solicitor with a unique training background. Before joining Stobbs, her training focussed intensely on brand protection and was split between an international publishing company and a top-tier City firm.
Michelle now specialises in brand enforcement and anti-counterfeiting work for foreign brands in China and South East Asia. She advises on a wide range of brand protection matters, ranging from online takedowns, domain disputes, to offline actions such as customs protection measures, administrative raids, criminal and civil actions. She works closely with local investigators, counsels and regulators to design strategies and drive enforcement actions. Her advice is always practical, well-tailored to suit business needs, cost-effective, and easy to understand. She also has experience in litigation, PR crisis management and other areas of law, such as advertising and anti-unfair competition laws.
Michelle is fluent in Mandarin and spends her time between Stobbs’ London office and Asia.
