Nina Kent
IA Director

Nina is an IA Director at Stobbs. Through her work with a wide range of clients from individuals to SMEs to international businesses owning global brands in a variety of industries, both in private practice and in-house, Nina has developed a practical and personal approach to advising on trade mark matters. Clients appreciate that her advice is tailored to their business requirements. Nina is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney and is experienced in all areas of trade mark protection and enforcement before the UK and EU IP Offices, as well as internationally.  Nina has considerable experience in the area of contentious work, with a particular focus on negotiations and drafting agreements.

She takes a practical, creative and commercial approach to negotiations and focuses on achieving solutions for clients which not only safeguard their current business interests, but also take into account potential future expansion. Nina is confident at advising on global trade mark protection strategies as a result of project managing global filing programmes and running worldwide trade mark portfolios. During her time working in-house, Nina gained a valuable insight into the exploitation of a brand through licensing and is experienced at negotiating and drafting licences.

Nina enjoys mentoring and supporting trainees in their professional development.

Away from work, Nina finds her headspace in yoga and running and she is enthusiastic about art and fashion. She also has a passion for France and all things French.
