Teme Petrakova
IA Executive

Teme joined Stobbs as an IA Trainee, and is now an IA Executive at Stobbs. Teme's specialty at Stobbs is managing processes around trade mark portfolio maintenance, filing formalities and trade mark prosecution practices at home and abroad. She has assisted clients in various industries from publishing and clothing to hygiene and nutrition. More recently in working in-house for some of our clients, further areas of practice have become maintenance of trade mark customs recordals and trade mark enforcement against counterfeit products abroad.

Her qualifications closely linked to her role are an undergraduate degree in law, a postgraduate diploma in trade mark law and practice, and a CITMA paralegals qualification. Teme's path to trade marks was not coincidental but the result of an interest in art, digital communication and branding. After her degree, the experiences of a digital design course, working at a product design start-up, and a graphic design internship in the midst of a gap year that was dedicated for exploring everything art and brands related, made trade marks and design law an exciting area to jump into.

Outside of work, she loves finding small, unusual and quirky places where she can sit down with a book. She loves being creative through food, home DIY projects, pottery workshops or painting. Jogging outside and yoga also often find their way into her day to day.
