In this article for the ITMA Review, Geoff Weller reviews the General Court's rejection of the mark CHROMA as a CTM which considered the proper assessment of ‘descriptiveness’ and in particular whether a sign that is the Greek word for colour describes a ‘characteristic’ of bathroom ceramics to the Greek-speaking consumer.
