Bio

Caitlin joined Stobbs in 2025 as an IA Executive and is focused on trade marks, designs and copyright. Caitlin qualified as a Solicitor in 2021, having trained at a boutique litigation firm. After her graduation, Caitlin interned at Harvard University and spent six weeks living in Boston, Massachusetts. At Harvard, Caitlin was part of a team working on a long-term project regarding global policy, which she continued working on for years after.

Due to a desire to work and specialise in intellectual property law, Caitlin obtained a masters degree in intellectual property law and the digital economy from the University of Glasgow, graduating with Distinction. Following her masters, Caitlin interned at the Center for Art Law, combining her love of art with her experience as a lawyer. Caitlin then went on to work at the University of Edinburgh, working to protect the University’s intellectual property and providing legal advice to colleagues regarding ground-breaking and innovative research projects.

Prior to joining Stobbs, Caitlin worked at a Magic Circle firm as a Trade Mark Solicitor, advising some of the world’s most famous brands. Caitlin is most interested in the initial stages of brand creation, launch and protection. She has a wide range of experience including portfolio management, prosecution, infringement, and clearance. In her spare time, Caitlin is reading, collecting books for her library, attending art galleries and museums, or painting.
