I AM always planning my next trip

Bio

Cheryl joined Stobbs as our Renewals Lead in 2022, before transitioning into a new role as our Chief Process Architect.

Cheryl studied French and German at university and went on to complete a Masters in Translation. These qualifications took her to a translation company that specialised in patents, giving Cheryl her first taste of the intellectual property world. Here, Cheryl soon found that the fast-paced and collaborative nature of the operational part of the business was a much better fit for her than the more solitary role of a translator. Cheryl went on to specialise in European Patent validation, heading up the EPV team who were responsible for the validation of thousands of European patents each year.

At Stobbs, Cheryl works across teams to review and optimise their processes and to improve documentation of and access to internal knowledge. To support these efforts, Cheryl works closely with developers on systems improvements, keeping a keen focus on AI tools and developments.

Outside of work, you can normally find Cheryl working on her house renovation or tending (poorly) to her many house plants. If she’s looking to unwind, nothing beats putting on a film and getting to work on a fun nail design.
