Bio
Ian has been a member of the Stobbs team for some time and continues to be excited by the continuing growth of the trade mark administration and paralegal function within the firm. He brings to Stobbs many years of experience as a trade mark administrator, paralegal, team and practice manager.
Ian accidently fell into the world of brand at a very early age and considers that to have been a happy and fortunate occurrence. He has held almost every role in the trade mark support and administration environment over a 30+ year career.
Ian can usually be found at the space between people and data, supporting people in reaching their career goals and making intellectual property data as useable as possible.
Ian is a Fellow of the Chartered Managers Institute and holds the CITMA Paralegal certificate. Ian is a member of the CITMA Paralegal Course Working Group; having also previously been Chair of the Institute’s Paralegal Events Group. As a long-term attendee, he has both presented at and been a member of the organising team for the INTA Trade Mark Administrators Annual meeting.
Outside of work, Ian enjoys spending time with his young family, cooking, watching animated movies, fishing, playing golf and following most sports.
