Joe Carlisle

Joe joined Stobbs as an IA Trainee in August 2025, specialising in trade marks. Joe holds a LLB Law degree from the University of Leeds. Since graduating in 2022, Joe has worked in team support, administration, and as a paralegal. Joe has a particular interest in design law and has clients in differing fields to navigate differing jurisdictional filing requirements, preparing bespoke filing strategies. Joe also has experience in litigation matters, from evidence gathering to preparing cease and desist letters.

Joe is a Sub-Committee Member of INTA and has helped to prepare a course tailored to worldwide trade mark administrators, promoting accessibility within IP.  

Outside of work, Joe has recently taken up running and enjoys training for his next race. With a background in competitive swimming, Joe likes to get back in the pool wherever he can. He enjoys being sociable, going to drag nights, music concerts and quiz nights with friends.
