Lia joined Stobbs in 2022 as a Receptionist and Office Admin in the Cambridge Office. Her role developed into her being an Office Manager at the start of 2023, which provides her with the balance of working at her desk on her laptop and around the office making sure everything is running smoothly. Both roles have allowed her to chat and get to know everyone in the Cambridge office, which she's most grateful for. 

Before joining Stobbs, she worked as a Front Office Receptionist at a hotel and as Cabin Crew. She studied Travel and Tourism in Portugal, where she's from, and briefly lived in Italy before moving to the UK in 2019.

Lia has always loved animals, and she spent most of her teen years at a riding center practicing and teaching dressage and show jumping. Before moving to the UK, she was a Tour Translator and a Receptionist at a hotel in Ericeira, which she misses dearly as the hotel was adjacent to the loveliest beach. She also did some voluntary work at an animal shelter during her free time, which she has now picked up in the UK as well. 

Outside of work, Lia stays busy with all sorts of hobbies like the gym, paddleboarding, fire spinning, gaming, reading, etc. She also tries to see her friends as much as possible and go away on holidays with them. She has also just acquired a mountain bike and is excited to explore this new hobby and find the best spots near her home.
