Ruby Hotston

Ruby joined Stobbs in 2025 as a Trade Mark Paralegal. 

Her passion for protecting creativity blossomed during her time as a Paralegal at Goodwood, where she worked closely on intellectual property matters, particularly trade marks. This role gave her hands-on experience managing trade mark portfolios and supporting brand protection strategies; skills she is eager to build on in her new role at Stobbs.

She holds an LLB from the University of Sussex and recently completed the LPC at BPP University in London. These qualifications, alongside her practical experience, have equipped her with the knowledge and confidence to excel in intellectual property law. Her professional journey has also been shaped by a summer scheme at Bird & Bird. This experience allowed her to gain valuable insights into the world of intellectual property within a global law firm, further solidifying her passion for the field. 

Outside of work, she enjoys exploring exhibitions and markets, practicing pilates, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. She is also fascinated by crystals and their calming energies, and loves candle making as a creative way to unwind and recharge.
