Alan Hammler
IA Executive

Alan joined Stobbs as an IA Trainee, and is now an IA Executive at Stobbs. Alan is a part-qualified Trade Mark Attorney with a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Exeter.

He started in IP as part of a records team before becoming a paralegal in 2017. As a paralegal, Alan gained a wealth of experience in Patents and Trade Marks; however, having always aimed to become a Trade Mark Attorney, Alan was given the opportunity to begin training in 2020 and completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Trade Mark Law and Practice in 2021, with a distinction.

Presently, he is involved in all manner of Trade Mark-related matters and looks forward to a life beyond the qualifying exams. 

Untethered from his laptop, Alan is attempting to learn Spanish, which he says is going bien. He is also really into table tennis and running, at least while his wee joints hold out.

A table tennis rally.

Barista. At least until I can make recognisable shapes in the milk.
