Stobbs to host 'IAM Brand Protection: The Life Cycle of Brand Protection'

Building on the success of our first two online seminars covering key developments, challenges, successes and ROI of Brand Protection, we are pleased to announce that our next session will focus on the factors brand owners need to consider to protect their brand throughout its life cycle. From launch, through construction of the IP and domain portfolio, to management of infringements, we will look at how brand owners should use a combination of monitoring, analysis and enforcement.


Brand Launch

Julius Stobbs will introduce the session by outlining the key considerations that brand-owners need to know when launching their brand; Julius will also set the context for the panel sessions in terms of the importance of domains, brand protection and enforcement as part of the wider brand strategy.

Domain Management Policy Construction

We’ll welcome Kate Reid, Lead Portfolio Strategist at Com Laude, to explore best practises in domain management and how to get return on investment from your domain name portfolio, ensuring it supports your overall brand protection strategy.

Domain Management and Brand Protection

David Barnett, Brand Protection Strategist at Stobbs, will focus on the first part of the monitoring / analysis / enforcement piece, looking primarily at the relationship between domain management and brand protection, and discussing philosophies and methodologies for brand protection monitoring and analysis.

Enforcement and Follow-ups

Tom Ambridge, Online Brand Enforcement Specialist at Stobbs, will cover the considerations and challenges associated with domain name enforcement for each stage of the brand journey.

Brand Owner View

Jamie W., Digital IP Strategist at H&M Group, will share his insights and experiences in managing a complex, multi-brand domain name portfolio for a global family of brands and businesses. With the H&M brand operating in over 75 markets, including 60 online markets, Jamie will provide in-house expertise from an iconic global brand.
