Bio
Claire joined Stobbs in 2025 as an IA Executive.
Claire graduated with a degree in chemistry in 2014 and moved into the area of IP in 2016 when she completed her masters degree at Queen Mary. She has worked in the IP industry for over 8 years, qualifying in 2021. Claire has experience across the full range of trade mark matters as well as with domain name and company name disputes which has helped her to assist her clients across the full scope of their portfolio.
She started her career working in the technology transfer sector which has provided her with valuable insight into the needs and pressures of her clients which she has carried through her career. Throughout her time in the industry, she has worked with clients ranging from high tech AI companies, global shipping companies, high street homeware brands, cosmetics brands and publishing companies.
Claire has previously had the opportunity to work at the Wimbledon tennis championships one summer during university. This was an especially interesting two weeks as not only does her family have an interest in tennis meaning she was often in lessons as a child, but she was also able to watch Andy Murray win his first championships from the hill.
In her spare time, Claire enjoys going for dinner with friends and family, going for a long walk or a (not so long) run. She also enjoys drawing and painting which she has done since she was a child with a very messy easel.
