Monique joined Stobbs in 2023 as an IA Paralegal. Monique has a business management certificate from the University of South Africa and she is now in her second year of LLB law studies with the OU in England.
Over the years, in various roles, Monique has gained valuable experience in administrative roles within busy sectors in the legal and medical fields which have given her the opportunity to learn about the businesses that she has worked for and how they function. She worked as a receptionist at a local veterinary in South Africa and had the privilege of assisting with some of the procedures on the animals when we were short staffed. She also worked as a receptionist at a doctor's practice for a year to fund her studies as she enjoyed working with people.
After moving to a faraway town due to her husband's work, Monique started as a paralegal at a legal firm where her studies and work experience started taking flight. She started working at a law firm in 2022 but I was looking for a more modern way of combining my legal studies with business and creativity when she found Stobbs.
Outside of work, Monique likes being outdoors, spending time with her family and friends, having a BBQ and listening to music. She also spends lots of time going for walks and taking the kids to the park or outdoor events. Monique also enjoys doing arts and crafts DIY projects.

Law books ( don't have much time to read anything other than study material).

Anything Christmas or hallmark.

Watching movies at home with my kids with loads of snacks.

Workwear - trousers, button shirts and cosy jumpers.

Rain on the roof or windows.
