Andy is an IA Manager and Chartered Trade Mark Attorney, working mostly on day-to-day trade mark and design portfolio, prosecution and enforcement matters, across a range of different clients in various goods / service areas – from soft drinks to women’s magazines. He returned to Stobbs in 2023, having trained and qualified at the firm previously, and spent time working in-house for a sports media and betting company before re-joining. He has had further in-house experience, including a secondment at a major UK food retailer.
Andy’s qualifications include a BA in History from Keele University, as well as post-graduate certificates from Queen Mary University and Nottingham Law School (obtained en route to qualification as a chartered trade mark attorney).
Outside of work, Andy enjoys the outdoors (including his garden, or a pub one!) and loves his golf – and football, as a long supporting/ suffering Stevenage FC fan. He also likes to spend time exploring new random bands/ artists, and finding new “hidden gem” eating places.
