I AM I AM strategic

Bio

Charlotte is an IP solicitor specialising in brand disputes, litigation and IP strategy. She helps businesses protect what they have built, get the most out of their IP, and resolve disputes commercially.

Charlotte's practice spans IP through to broader contract and commercial disputes. She has acted on some of the most significant UK brand disputes in recent years, representing many high profile brand owning companies. Her reported cases cover the IPEC, High Court, Court of Appeal, Commercial Court and Competition Appeal Tribunal.

Alongside her contentious work, she advises clients at every stage of their IP journey - from creation and registration through to licensing, commercialisation and long-term brand strategy. Clients describe her as 'commercially astute' and a 'superb technical lawyer.'

Charlotte brings traditional city-law experience from her time at Clifford Chance and Taylor Wessing - a breadth of perspective she channels into Stobbs' characteristically direct, no-nonsense way of working. She holds an MA in Law from Cambridge and a Postgraduate Diploma in IP Law and Practice from Oxford.

When she is not working, Charlotte is usually training for her next running event, cheering from the sidelines at her children's football (invariably in the rain), or doing her best to learn piano - the latter still a work in progress.
