Danijela joined Stobbs in 2022 as an OBE Specialist.

Danijela was born in Vancouver, Canada and moved to the UK in 2013 to undertake an LLB degree at the University of Kent. In 2018, she went on to complete an LLM degree with a specialisation in Corporate and Commercial Law at the London School of Economics. Danijela decided to stay and live in London after falling in love with the city and British culture during her studies.

For the last two years, Danijela has worked in the Mergers department at the Competition and Markets Authority, assisting case teams with merger investigations across various economic markets. Danijela joined Stobbs in pursuit of a career change.

Outside of work, Danijela enjoys travelling, playing recreational volleyball, going to the gym and trying out new bars and restaurants with friends. Danijela speaks Serbian and Croatian fluently thanks to her parents’ Balkan roots, and often visits the region to see her family.

Favourite food?

Sarma – a Serbian dish consisting of minced meet wrapped in pickled cabbage leaves and cooked in broth.

Reggaeton, urbano latino and Serbian pop/folk.

Hair diffuser – a curly girl’s best friend.

Favourite film?

Either Legally Blonde or Mean Girls, my childhood classics!

Restaurant with delicious food, great music and a fun vibe.
