Fiona joined our growing People team as a People Executive in August 2022.

Originally from the Peak District in Derbyshire, Fiona moved down to Ely to start her HR career in 2019. She has 2 and a half years’ experience working within Human Resources mainly within FMCG/food manufacturing. She has obtained a broad range of experience stretching across the entire employee life cycle, employee relations, employee wellbeing initiatives and benefit packages including pensions.

To support her experience so far, Fiona have also completed her level 5 CIPD qualification which has helped develop her career as a people professional. She's keen to develop further and always takes on new challenges when the opportunity arises.

When she's not at work, Fiona enjoys exercising by taking a run outdoors and listening to music. When the sun is shining, she enjoys long walks in the peak district and meeting up with family and friends. On the rainy days (of which there are many), she enjoy card games, Cluedo and Articulate.

Pizza, pizza and more pizza.

If I’m running, I like modern pop but at a party ABBA will always get me on the dance floor.

Crime/ thriller books.

Favourite gadget?

Kettle.

Love Actually- too many feel-good moments.

Choice of night out?

Somewhere with cocktails and games like mini golf, shuffleboard or pool. Followed by a meal out (preferably Italian).

Something comfortable.

Choice of holiday?

Anywhere I haven't been before.

What sound or noise do you love?

Birds chirping in the morning.

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? 

Professional golfer (only because then I would have a caddy to carry my bag around for me).
