Jed originally joined Stobbs as an IA Paralegal, and then transitioned into being an IA Trainee in 2023. Having joined a start-up legal tech company straight out of university (which was later acquired by Stobbs!), Jed has worked in the IP industry his whole career. Jed’s experience was previously working in the patent side of IP; however, he now very much prefers working with trade marks. Jed thrives when working closely with clients and being a part of a fast-paced, dynamic team.

Outside of work, Jed enjoys spending lots of time with family and doing experience days with his partner. The most exciting experiences include indoor skydiving, a helicopter ride over London, beekeeping, tea blending and hot air ballooning. Jed also enjoys being creative and, having completed a jewellery-making course, intends to make jewellery from sustainably sourced silver and sea glass.

Anything Indian.

It varies daily but the constant is 90s boom bap.

Unashamed by Harry Baker.

Favourite gadget?

My 3-Speed desk fan or AirPods.

Favourite film?

Chicken Run! It is a cinematic masterpiece and I will not hear otherwise.

Choice of night out?

Live music or a pub quiz.

Choice of dress code?

Casual- often seen in hoodies or dungarees.

Choice of holiday?

City breaks around Europe or the seaside in the UK.

What sound or noise do you love?

The sound of the sea, wind through trees or people laughing hysterically.

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

Professional tea taster (it's actually a thing!)
