Mary is a qualified Irish and EU Trade Mark Attorney. Prior to joining Stobbs in 2022, she worked for a leading Irish patent and trade mark boutique in Dublin, as well as IP firms in Cornwall and London.
Mary has extensive experience of trade mark prosecution and the management and organisation of client portfolios. In the past, Mary has worked in-house for ambitious start-ups and scaling-up SME companies and this gives her an appreciation of how the commercial needs of the business drive the IP strategy.
Mary is the first person to successfully complete both the EUIPO’s Paralegal and Trade Mark Attorneys European Trade Marks and Designs Education Programmes. She obtained the Law Society of Ireland’s Certificate in Trade Mark Law in 2015 a Masters in English Literature and Publishing in 2001.
Mary enjoys running and travelling. She has two children, and enjoy walking their pet beagle, Sherlock, together on the local beach.
