Rosanna joined Stobbs as an IA Executive in 2022. Rosanna has extensive international experience in IP management and enforcement, having worked with multinational companies in a number of jurisdictions. She tailors her advice to clients’ current needs with expansion goals in mind. Her advice is commercially sound, strategic and cost-efficient.
Rosanna is a qualified German Lawyer (RAK Hamburg) and English Solicitor. She also holds a Master’s degree in International Economic Law from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. After qualifying in Germany, Rosanna gained extensive experience in German Copyright litigation. Prior to Stobbs, she worked for a renowned Brazilian law firm where she advised clients on all aspects of trade mark and design prosecution and litigation in Brazil and Latin America.
Due to her broad education and substantial international experience, Rosanna has an excellent understanding of multi-jurisdictional settings and challenges. Transnational clients appreciate her ability to understand the legal, business and cultural differences. Rosanna’s language skills in English, German, Portuguese and Spanish contribute to the effective management of global portfolios.
Rosanna also enjoys serving on INTA committees, raising awareness for practitioner’s challenges and shaping future trade mark policies. Additionally, she tutors SQE candidates in Business Law to prepare them for the Solicitor exams and writes articles on SQE subjects.
Outside the office, Rosanna enjoys scuba diving, fitness, tango, hiking, singing in a choir, playing keyboard and spoiling her beloved dog.
