Simone joined Stobbs in 2023 as an IA Data Administrator.
Before this, she attended the London College of Music to study opera singing after having spent 5 years working with the Singapore Lyric Opera on various full productions and regular choir and solo performances.
The first 18 years of Simone's life was spent moving around Asia, staying longer in Singapore than any others. Her earliest exposures to ‘the working world’ actually started when she was still a child and her mother signed her up for voice acting. This was followed by a couple of years as a receptionist and audio facilities assistant with one of the recording studios. After that, Simone mainly worked various positions in and around the hospitality and tourism industries, from running bars and kitchens, handling private holiday rentals, to being part of putting on ticketed events for live music, club nights and day festivals.
Outside of work, you can find Simone almost anywhere doing almost anything, or absolutely nothing. This could be from staying home and taking care of her plants and binge watching horror films, to heading to a gig in London, or going to the coast for the day just for a fish & chips.
