Tanja joined Stobbs in 2022 as an IA Executive, after qualifying as a UK Trade Mark Attorney.
Her interest in trade marks started when she joined another leading trade mark firm where she gained experience in both contentious and non-contentious IP matters working with a variety of international clients. She has experience in filing UK trade mark applications, clearance searches and assisting clients in extensive opposition and cancellation proceedings. Her ability to speak fluent German and Spanish has aided her greatly in large-scale evidence exercises especially in EU proceedings. Tanja has worked in a range of industries including fashion and retail, hospitality, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
Her qualifications include an LLB in Law with Human Rights and Social Justice as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice, both attained from Leicester’s DeMontfort University.
Away from her desk, Tanja is an avid tennis player (singles and doubles), a digital bookworm (she loves her Kindle) and a lover of international culture and travel.

Summer time: Sushi; for winter warmth: Goulash with the traditional Semmel Knödel.

Bit of pop, country and house music (guilty pleasure – Little Mix).

A recent favourite is Lies by TM Logan.

The PlayStation 5, especially freeing the Japanese islands from the Mongol invasion in the game of Ghost of Tsushima.

Relaxed dinner in a lively environment with friends and family followed by late night cocktails in a fancy bar.

The sound of waves at night with the distant laughter at various restaurants in the background. Reminiscent of growing up in Mallorca.
