Approach

We look across 3 pillars: Trade Marks, Brand Strength and Brand Protection.

We can evaluate your trade mark portfolio strategy – alignment to need, business strategy; gap filings; application of strategy to renewals, approach to third parties.

We evaluate your relative brand strength by considering Financial performance; brand rights and protections; marketing budget and social media profile; the awareness and perception of customers; online prominence and sentiment within the media and relative positions on CSR and ESG dimensions.

We benchmark brand protection by considering four factors: The online space – including eCommerce, social media, domains; the offline space as indicated by litigation actions and customs recordals; PR in terms of media coverage and membership of trade associations and groups; and trade mark portfolio in key counterfeit / trade / supply chain locations.
