Olivia Bedell-Pearce

Liv is Head of Commercial at Stobbs and is a key contact for all general commercial and brand licensing work. She also provides general in-house legal team support services to her clients as a member of the VGC (Virtual General Counsel) team at Stobbs, together with brand strategy, exploitation, protection and enforcement advice.

Liv is an experienced commercial lawyer and General Counsel with over 20 years in practice. Her career has spanned both private practice and in-house, and she has built up a wealth of experience across a variety of sectors including brand licensing, the digital space, film, tech, publishing, events, the music industry, and big data. She has worked with startups, FTSE 100 companies, emerging and heritage brands, and has extensive experience working on cross-border deals.

Liv’s in-house roles have included being GC for a music tech business, Senior Commercial Counsel at a FTSE 100 company and, most recently before joining Stobbs, global GC for the Mr. Men and Little Miss brands at Sanrio.

Her clients appreciate her commercial approach to problem solving and the practical, business focused advice that she provides. They also value her constructive and effective approach to negotiations and excellent drafting skills.

Liv mentors junior solicitors at Stobbs. She also runs the commercial contract training programme internally as well as providing training content and sessions for clients.
